Welcome to Redwood German Shepherds

At Redwood German Shepherds, we strive to provide the highest standard of quality possible of the German Shepherd breed. Our goal is to present litters that are easily trainable (even a novice dog owner would find them easy to train), have sound minds and amazing temperaments. It’s our love and understanding of the German Shepherd breed that gives us the opportunity to help people, future friends and family members have top quality, highly intelligent and loyal family dogs. Maintaining this magnificent breed is not just a hobby for us; our Shepherds are family. It is our passion and commitment to obtain perfection and excellence with our dogs. Using our knowledge and dedication to the breed standard, we start with the best of the best bloodlines (West German show lines) enabling us to consistently present top quality dogs for show, work or family life. Every Shepherd in our program has their hips and elbows tested and certified by either the OFA or SV to ensure that they are free of hip and elbow dysplasia, thus ensuring the parent’s qualities in each litter.

We would like to thank Pando of Olympus K9 for being our mentor and guiding us in our journey to train our dogs for “Schutzhund”. This Club has been very welcoming and we are happy to be part of this wonderful Group. ​

We are working towards establishing a local Schutzhund Club as well. ​

We would like to thank Dr. Belanger and the staff at Manitoba Road Animal Hospital for attending the medical needs to our German Shepherds. This includes vaccinations, puppy vet checks, hip and elbow x-rays, and ensuring that all of our dogs are in tip top shape.
