Words cannot describe how impressed we are with Diane and her Redwood dogs. We knew immediately that this one puppy needed to be ours. He is incredible. We have had dogs all our lives. His personality is endearing and sweet, he is confident and sweet, a super fast learner, eager to please and absolutely amazing with out 2 and a half year old daughter. He bonded instantly. Fastest dog to house train ever and always happy to interact with us. Diane has provided unparalleled support to our family since day 1, even did a home visit for us to offer training tips and supports (as we hadn't had a puppy in 16 years). She cares evidently about her dogs, their happiness and the fit to the family. I would recommend her dogs a thousand times over. She told us initially we would be impressed with how easy to train they are but I have to say that is an understatement!! We are beyond impressed. I don't often write reviews but this one is well earned. You will never regret the decision to go with Redwood German Shepherds. I am sold for life.

Our experience with Redwood German Shepherds has been nothing but amazing. Diane is a trustworthy and responsible breeder. She has extensive knowledge and experience in raising and training dogs of all breeds in obedience. Me and my partner were looking for a German Shepherd puppy and came across this kennel. Seeing that it got good reviews we decided to give her a call. After speaking with Diane the owner of the kennel. We found out we were going to be lucky enough to soon be proud owners of a little puppy girl. A month been by and she kept in contact fully. Being friendly and ever so kind. She even let us come visit the puppies. Very professional about the experience. All her dogs are beautiful and you can tell they're well taken care of. Not only that Diane herself cares deeply about her dogs and how they are cared and loved. She even makes you feel like you're part of the family right away. Overall this was a phenomenal experience for me and my partner. You would definitely recommend anyone looking for a German Shepherd to give Diane a call. Our little girl is the most beautiful loving wonderful family member we've ever had. So glad we found this lovely place.

I have had the opportunity to get to learn a lot about Redwood German Shepherds, both the owners and the dogs. The dogs, without question, are absolutely beautiful. Nico is the most beautiful male I have ever seen and the girls are perfect 10’s in my book. Diane, the owner, is one of the sweetest most honest and sincere people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and about dogs in general. She has an honest love for her dogs and goes above and beyond for them. She treats her clients with honesty, integrity, respect and compassion. I would recommend not only her breeding program but her as a person.

I would 1000% recommend Redwood German Shepherd. They are well mannered puppies. They have great temperaments, are easy to train and have exceptional blood lines. The amount of work that is put into these pups (which I have seen first-hand) before they go to their new homes is extraordinary. I am honored to be a lucky person to own a Redwood Shepherd (Nuka). Diane, being the great person she is, helped me with my other shepherd as well. Heidi had been attacked when she was a pup on leash and became overly protective/fear aggressive when she saw other dogs while we were on walks. Diane took it upon herself to help me better control these encounters and now I can walk my dog with little to no reactions from her. Through and through if you are looking to get a shepherd, Redwood is the place to go!
Diane at Redwood German Shepherd is a wonderful breeder. She recently intrusted me with co-owning one of her pups "Nuka", he is such a calm well mannered puppy from day one that I had him, and very easy to train. I am currently in the vet tech program at northern college and Diane has been kind enough to not only help me train my other German Shepherd Heidi (2yrs old) before I left for college, but also took me under her wing and is showing me the ins and outs of becoming a breeder as I want to build my own breeding program when im done college. She puts the money and effort into her dogs so they live a great life, her dogs come first. She wants whats best for her dogs and always insures that her dogs are in tip top shape before breeding them (health checked, hips, elbows, ect.). To her, her dogs aren't just dogs they are family. Diane has an amazing paddock that she has lots of equipment that she is able to train her dogs for Schutzhund (IP01).

I have a 10 month old, long coat, male pup from Redwood German Shepherds. I am absolutely in love with this boy. He is exactly what I and my son needed. My son is special needs and I explained to Diane that I needed a dog that would be gentle and easy-going and that is exactly what I got. He is so smart and learns so fast that my son has enjoyed being involved in training him. The training that Diane does with the pups before they go to their forever home ensures that they are confident, well socialized, friendly and easy going. Diane also provides you with support after you have taken your puppy home. You can call her any time with questions you might have and she will gladly help you out. I recommend Redwood German Shepherds.

My husband and I have been taking a friend to see the puppies since they were born. Going every 2 or 3 weeks and she gets her little girl in 2 weeks. Watching their growth has been very exciting. The mothers have the best temperaments of any dogs we have been around over the years. They let us pick up their pups right from a week old, with no problems. They were always very friendly and the male (Nico) is very friendly!! We spent 2 hours with them today and can see the pups are going to have the same temperaments. Diane has been very informative about how the pups are trained, before you take them home. She has a great place, with very special dogs.

I've been lucky enough to have my pup for 3 ½ weeks. He's what I consider to be the pick of the litter, handsome, strong, loyal, obedient, (he already knows about a dozen words and 4 of the main commands. he's everything I hoped for, and more, my best friend already, all because of Diane's commitment to her dogs and puppies. He was well adjusted to coming home alone and fit right in with my other two dogs, now thick as thieves. I couldn't recommend a better breeder because her love and thought goes into every puppy and it absolutely shows. If you're lucky enough to be on the short list for one of her pups you should jump on the opportunity. I guarantee you will love your pup almost as much as I love my Frankie.

I have decided to get myself something I’ve always wanted for my birthday. My daughter found Redwood German Shepherds and after talking with Diane I decided she was the breeder I was looking for. Diane’s commitment and love for her Shepherds, speaks volumes to the quality of her dogs. We met Nico and Pamela, absolutely beautiful and we were lucky enough to get to meet two of the puppies (also beautiful and playful and happy). I have to wait for my puppy now, I am so excited. My husband and I went and visited Diane and her dogs this past weekend. We’ve been looking for a German Shepherd breeder for quite some time and when we found Redwood it seemed too good to be true. Well let me tell you, Diane and her German Shepherds were everything of the sort! Diane was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Her hard work and love for her dogs shines bright when you get to meet her incredible German shepherds! We can’t wait until we get to bring our puppy home from Diane / Redwood!!

Maandag - Kwe which means "Beautiful Girl" in our language. She is growing fast, is a bossy lil gurl ..who stands her ground and likes to give her 2 cents when she is being ignored! She is such a blessing to our family! I have been in contact with Diane for 15yrs and this is our 3rd dog. Our dogs have lived full healthy lives. We are very grateful for being able to purchase our dogs from Redwood German Shepherds. All our dogs have been top of the line for our favorite breed! She continues to grow and watching her learn through milestones is heart-warming. We will be purchasing another one, hopefully, this spring for companionship! She is healthy, happy and spoiled with love from me and my family!

10/10 would recommend Diane Kearsey at Redwood Kennels! Professional, organized, but most importantly caring! She truly cares about her Shepherds and the homes that they go to; you won’t be treated as another transaction. I am so pleased to have been referred to her by a friend. I spke with Diane over the phone and she confirmed that there had been a male available in her latest litter. We spoke briefly over the phone over the lineage of the parents and we agreed on a time to visit, I’m glad I made the drive! She went over all my questions with great detail, explained to me her process of training, showed me her German Shepherds (Pamela/Pepsi/Nico and all the puppies). Leading up to picking up the puppy from Diane, she’s been so supportive with answering my calls in regards to the puppies and visiting while still managing to cater to others/take care of 3 litters.
The puppies are exceptional with her breeding program and well tempered, extremely confident, with great play drive. I’m still shocked how well Milo has acclimated on his first day in his new forever home.

I give Redwood a 5+ star. I purchased my puppy Dutchess vom Redwood September of 2020. The 6 hour drive was sure worth it. All of her dogs are absolutely beautiful and amazing temperament. Diane makes sure all of the puppies are very well socialized and very confident. She took the time to explain all the training she has done with all the puppies from the time they are born till they go to there new homes. Diane is a very knowledgeable breeder and dog trainer.
Dutchess is so extremely easy to train and very affectionate. You will not be disappointed if you decide to get a Redwood puppy. I know I made the right choice!
